Trousers

Our trousers are available in two models, both tailored in Italy and cut to our house pattern with a high rise that sits at the natural waist. It is the proportion tailoring was built around, and it lengthens the leg whether you wear it with a sport coat or with knitwear. The single pleat has a tapered leg and side adjusters, so no belt is needed. The double pleat has a straight leg and slightly dropped belt loops. Both are made in a specialist trouser workshop.

We are particular about cloth, and buy each one from the mill that specialises in it: flannel, cavalry twill and tropical wool from England, linen from Ireland, cotton from Japan, and corduroy from an Italian mill that has woven it since 1883.

The construction is sartorial throughout. A curtained waistband made of pure cotton, a button fly, pick stitching along the fly and the pockets, and buttons in buffalo horn or corozo. The hems are left unfinished, so you choose the length and the finish, with or without a turn-up.

Most of these cloths are also available made to measure: the same cloth, the same make, cut to your measurements with the details chosen by you.
