Thomas Mason Mid Wash Denim 120s

Victoria is Thomas Mason's indigo denim, woven as a twill from double-twisted yarns at 131 to 141 grams. The indigo sits on the outside of the warp yarn rather than running through it, which is what allows denim to fade.

Mid wash sits between the other two, an even mid blue. The cloth is washed at the mill, not the finished shirt, so this shade is where the shirt starts. It goes on fading with wear and washing, and shows it first at the collar, the cuffs and the placket front if you choose one.

Often ordered with a spread or point collar, and with a button-down collar as the more casual option.

Each shirt is cut by hand to your measurements. You choose between two constructions. The first has three operations worked by hand: the armholes, the buttons and the gusset at the base of the side seam. The second adds three more: the collar attached by hand, the buttonholes hand-sewn and the bartacks at the sleeve sewn by hand. Both are finished with Australian mother-of-pearl buttons.
