Taupe Brushed Oxford Two Pocket Shirt

A two-pocket shirt cut on a workwear pattern, in a pure cotton oxford that has been brushed on the face. The brushing raises a short nap from the basketweave, giving the cloth the hand of flannel while retaining the body and durability of an oxford. It wears warm without much weight, and the nap settles and softens further with washing.

Made in Italy, with a soft point collar, front placket and single cuffs. The two flap pockets are the clearest reference to the shirt's origins; the rest is kept plain, so the cloth and the taupe ground carry it. Warm enough to wear on its own through the colder months, and light enough to sit under tailoring or knitwear.
