Navy Red and White Regimental Stripe Repp Tie

A navy, red and white repp tie in a regimental stripe. The silk is woven for us in Como by Italy's oldest silk mill, and the ribbed repp weave gives it a slight texture that helps the knot hold its shape.

The regimental stripe began in nineteenth-century Britain, where each regiment wore its colours on a tie. In the British style the stripe runs from the left shoulder down to the right.

Made by hand in Italy, this tie features hand-rolled blades and a 3-fold construction with light interlining to ensure a modest knot.
