This navy safari jacket is made in Italy from a blend of linen, silk and cotton woven in Biella. The linen gives structure and breathability, the silk adds softness and a faint lustre, and the cotton keeps the surface even. At 280 grams it is the lightest in our safari jacket range.
We designed this safari jacket to sit between a sport coat and a shirt jacket. The lapels are cut to roll, and we put the buttoning point at the waist as you would on a tailored jacket, which gives it more shape than a field jacket.
It is unlined, which makes it cooler to wear. The chest pockets have inverted pleats under flaps, the lower pockets are bellows, and the buttons are horn. An adjustable waistband at the back draws the jacket in through the waist.
