Navy Green and White Striped Repp Tie

A navy, green and white striped tie in silk repp, a weave with a fine diagonal rib that gives the silk a subtle texture and helps the knot hold its shape. The silk is woven for us in Como by Italy's oldest silk mill.

The regimental stripe began in 19th-century Britain, where each regiment wore its colours on a tie. In the British style the stripe runs from the left shoulder down to the right.

Made by hand in Italy, this tie features hand-rolled blades and a 3-fold construction with light interlining to ensure a modest knot.
