Navy and Brown Diamond Jacquard Silk Tie

This navy tie is woven in jacquard silk in Como, at Italy's oldest silk mill. Jacquard weaves the pattern into the cloth on the loom, so the design has depth and a slight sheen that a printed silk does not have.

The diamond motif is worked in a warm brown and carried at a bold scale. The pattern recalls the tie choices of the 1920s and the early jazz age, when menswear took to geometric design and expressive detail.

Made by hand in Italy, this tie features hand-rolled blades and a 3-fold construction with light interlining to ensure a modest knot.
