This light brown Donegal tweed sport coat is crafted from beautiful heathered salt-and-pepper fabric, woven with a mix of oatmeal, brown, and black yarns. Characterised by distinctive flecks of colour throughout the fabric, Donegal tweed offers more texture than a solid-coloured sport coat. This texture elevates simple ensembles and pairs easily with various patterns.

Our tailoring is made in Italy, featuring full canvas construction and meticulous hand-sewing in key areas such as the collar, armholes, and buttonholes. Patch pockets enhance the sport coat’s casual nature, making it versatile for both everyday wear and more formal settings.

The variety of coloured yarns in the weave makes this light brown Donegal tweed sport coat exceptionally easy to match with a wide range of trousers. It pairs particularly well with charcoal or dark brown flannel trousers, tan cavalry twill trousers, and even jeans for a more relaxed look. The shoulders are unpadded and the construction is soft, with just enough canvas to shape the jacket. One of the most distinctive features is the hidden dart running from armhole to pocket. Guided by the principles of traditional tailoring, our house style combines classic proportions with a silhouette designed to flatter, all while maintaining comfort.

Full Canvas

Our tailoring is made with a full and floating canvas. We use canvas to shape the chest and lapels, achieving a natural roll from the bottom towards the shoulders. Even with the jacket unbuttoned, the lapels elegantly drape away from the body, accentuating the waistline. Canvas also lets the jacket breathe, allowing it to adapt and conform to the wearer’s body shape the more it is worn.
