Navy Dupioni Silk Sport Coat

This navy sport coat is made from a dupioni silk with a subtle sheen, woven in Italy with a crisp hand and distinctive slubs. Silk regulates temperature much like linen, keeping you cool in warm weather, but is more resistant to creasing. The fabric has a beautiful midnight shade of navy, and the texture is subtle enough to add depth without disrupting the clean look of the colour.

The first sport coat we ever produced was made from a vintage dupioni silk, a fabric so well received that we spent years searching for a worthy replacement. After reviewing dozens of options, we found a silk weaver in Como producing a comparable fabric—crisp, matte, and woven with just the right amount of texture.
