Permanent Style Magazine - Issue 3

Simon Crompton has spent more than a decade writing about tailoring, visiting the workshops and passing on what the tailors themselves told him. In recent years he has widened the range from bespoke and classic menswear into workwear and less formal dress. We stock Permanent Style because there is very little else written about clothes with the same depth.

Permanent Style Magazine is the print edition of PermanentStyle.com, with photography and illustration produced for the page rather than the screen.

The third issue is centred on France. The cover is a conversation with the founders of L'Etiquette about what clothes say about a culture. A survey of the century's significant car designs, a tour of the last traditional craftsmen in the UK, and a visit to garment workshops in India. Plus a review of knitted T-shirts and a guide to the Paris shops worth the walk.
