Permanent Style Magazine - Issue 1

Simon Crompton has spent more than a decade writing about tailoring, visiting the workshops and passing on what the tailors themselves told him. In recent years he has widened the range from bespoke and classic menswear into workwear and less formal dress. We stock Permanent Style because there is very little else written about clothes with the same depth.

Permanent Style Magazine is the print edition of PermanentStyle.com, with photography and illustration produced for the page rather than the screen.

The first issue has Yasuto Kamoshita photographed at home in Tokyo, with a guide to shopping the city. Reader profiles, Italian industrialists, independent shops in the UK, watch collecting, and reviews of Drake's and Taillour. Crompton writes on his favourite tailors. Contributions from Milad Abedi, Andreas Weinas and Jamie Ferguson.
